3rd Asia Ministerial Conference on Tiger Conservation

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi inaugurated the 3rd Asia Ministerial Conference on Tiger Conservation in New Delhi on 12 April 2016.  The Cambodian delegation was led by H.E. Dr. Ty Sokhun, Secretary of State, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries. 

As a country having the largest number of tigers in the wild, the Conference showcased India’s remarkable achievements, success stories and leadership in tiger conservation.
