73rd Independence Day Celebrations

Embassy of India in Phnom Penh celebrated 73rd Independence Day with great enthusiasm on 15th August 2019 at 8 AM.

The celebrations commenced with unfirling of tricolour by HE Amb. Manika Jain. She read out President of India's message.
This was followed by cultural items and singing of patriotic songs. The programme also incuded inauguration of an exhibition of hand made jewellery in the embassy premises.

Officers and staff of Embassy and their families attended. A large number of Indian diaspora, NRIs attended the function with families and children, besides Cambodian friends.
