Celebrations of 4th International Day of Yoga

Battambang (17 June 2018)

The maiden International Day of Yoga (4th Edition of IYD) was successfully observed against the backdrop of the Battambang Provincial Hall today, the 17th June 2018. The event was inter alia presided by H.E.HEUNG SOKON, The Vice Governor of Battambang Province, and HE MIL KADO, Dy Director General of Sports. Approximately 500 plus participants from various educational institutions, including UYFC volunteers, Provincial officials, local and foreign tourists participated enthusiastically. The young participants particularly from schools evinced great interest and listened in rapt attention the efficacy of Yoga and its invaluable role in human lives. The chief guests also delivered thoughts on important role of Yoga. Apsara, Bayon, CNC TV, Fresh News & Kampuchea Thmei covered the event.
