Pongal Festival 2016

Indian Association of Cambodia (IAC) organised Pongal Festival on 17 January 2016. Pongal is a harvest festival celebrated in Tamil Nadu and is held in Tamil month of Thai during the season when rice and other cereals, sugarcane and turmeric are harvested. Cultural games were organised and traditional lunch was served.

Ambassador of India to Cambodia H.E. Naveen Srivastava and his wife joined Indian community members in Phnom Penh to celebrate the festival.
