Advisory for Indians in Cambodia stranded due to COVID-19

It has come to the notice of the Embassy of India, Phnom Penh that some travel agents are making efforts to charter flight from India to Cambodia to evacuate Indians. It has also come to our notice that the travel agents are claiming to have the endorsement of Embassy of India, Phnom Penh to make such efforts. It is clarified to one and all that such efforts by any travel agent are completely private and commercial in nature and has no endorsement of the Embassy of India/ Government of India.

2. Therefore , it is reiterated that Embassy of India, Phnom Penh has neither any role nor the Embassy endorses any such travel agent. Any person intending to take a flight to or from India through any travel agent will be doing so as a private contract with that agent, fully and completely at his/her own risk and responsibility without involving the Embassy of India. The Embassy of India does not take any responsibility of the aforementioned initiative.
